Fambooya Cathaya Elubadaya

Fambooya Cathaya, Elubadaya, Oh, the chap would never try-a, Save him did many a lie-a! Fambooya Cathaya, Elubadaya, Yes, the man who would sooner tire, Than wire the 'w' out of wire, Fambooya Cathaya, Elubadaya. The jack who couldn't jump very high-a, For he was lazier than I could could call him shy-a, No words for that guy, me o my-a, Fambooya Cathaya , Elubadaya. Fambooya Cathaya Elubadaya, A man who would sooner cry-a, Than scale the spire. Oh the tire, tire, tire, Goodness bless me, I would sooner cry-a, Than find a, Fambooya Cathaya Elubadaya.

Summer!

O Summer! The soft brush of an Impressionist. Those tints of gold and red! A splash of color- VIBGYOR- With a foliage to embed! Thou sight a pretty robin, Musing on the tan, A rub of green on canvas, Her picture-perfect fan! Four blobs of pink at horizon, A scorching day at Farm! Mamma wipes her forehead, Says Pa, "Work's no harm!" Raking up the pig-sty, A roll-call for the hay! Dancing, prancing, laughing, waltzing, The glee of summer's day! Thrushes line my chimney, Stockings are of yore! Chirping like my clock-chime, An adieu to the snow! Frostless are the windows, Chore-less is the hearth, This morn is fresh, you cannot thresh, Blossoms line the Earth! I wave to all the pansies, To school-girls in their frenzies! To hummingbird-whistles, To box-hedge tickles! To tomato-splutters, To barren gutters! And I chance our Nosey-Parker, His nose was never starker, Than in Summer! O Summer!
